Daniel Cicio, age 32, of Levittown, died on Thursday, Oct. 19 when he was struck by a jeep at his place of work.

Nicknamed “The Lord” in his obituary, Daniel has left behind not only family and friends but a larger community who knew him for his kindness and joy.

“The unimaginable pain of losing a child has struck our family,” wrote Daniel’s cousin, Michael Blangiforti, on Facebook.

Blangiforti described Daniel as someone who, “although we were cousins, still affectionately called me Uncle Mike out of respect.”

“The devastation and shock are beyond all words,” he said.

“Danny. I loved you more than anything in the world and I know you knew that without me even telling you,” wrote his brother Robert in a Facebook post.

Friends left comments on the post, shedding further light on Daniel’s character — “his smile was contagious,” one wrote, while another remembered him as “0a great, kind-hearted, and funny friend,” and yet another fondly reflected on Daniel’s “big personality and kind heart.”

“A man who would say one word and have the room holding in their pee from laughter,” wrote friend Stephanie Glazier.

“He will be truly missed.”

“I’m going to miss…All the laughs we had together throughout those 32 amazing years,” Robert wrote in his post, which featured a picture of the brothers in dark blue suits on a sunny day, beaming into the camera.

“I was so proud to call you my brother for 32 years,” he wrote.

“I just wish it was 32 more years.”
